AI-powered digital advertising startup, Creatopy has recently announced Tammy H. Nam as their new Chief Executive Officer. Nam, in her illustrious career, has served as the COO and CMO of the photo-editing startup PicsArt, and the CEO of Viki, a video streaming platform. She has an impressive track record of scaling early-stage startups, a key reason why Creatopy sought her out.
Creatopy was on the hunt for a US-based executive with substantial experience working with European founders, as the company was initially founded in Romania. The ideal candidate needed to have a deep understanding of marketing technology. Nam’s profile perfectly matched this criteria. “I am fortunate to have the qualifications they were searching for,” Nam stated.
With Nam taking over as CEO, she will also be joining the board of Creatopy. Meanwhile, the previous CEO, Dan Oros, will transition into an advisory role. The change in leadership comes after Creatopy successfully raised $10 million in a Series A funding round led by European venture capital firms 3VC and Point Nine.
Creatopy has seen remarkable growth between February 2024 and February 2025, with its mid-market and enterprise revenue increasing by 400%. Much of this growth has been attributed to the past six months. The company boasts an impressive lineup of customers, including AstraZeneca, NASCAR, and The Economist.
“Creatopy’s ability to attract large enterprise customers from sectors as demanding as pharmaceuticals and banking is quite noteworthy, especially for a company of our relative obscurity,” Nam highlighted. She also spoke about the product’s unique selling proposition, “Our customers appreciate our intuitive interface, distinct product capabilities, and exceptional customer service.”
As large language models become more widespread, Creatopy differentiates itself by understanding and delivering customer needs, offering high-touch value on top of its AI technology. A crucial aspect of Creatopy’s technology is brand safety. Marketing managers can upload brand kits during account setup, and the AI ensures that every generated ad aligns with their brand guidelines.
Nam concluded, “Our AI doesn’t just take over strategic thinking; it enhances it. We’ve had customers report a tenfold or more productivity increase as we eliminate the monotonous manual labor of generating hundreds of ad variations.”
