The campaign trails of Ontario’s primary political party leaders for Wednesday, Jan. 29, are as follows:
Doug Ford, the Progressive Conservative Leader, initiated his campaign at 10 a.m. in Windsor. He is scheduled to engage in a roundtable discussion with Unifor Local 444, followed by a visit to Harbour Technologies, a local manufacturing company.
NDP Leader Marit Stiles began her campaign in Toronto at Daniel’s Spectrum on Dundas Street East, also at 10 a.m. She will later join hands with Faisal Hassan, an Ontario NDP candidate for York South-Weston, at 6 p.m., to formally launch a campaign office on Eglinton Avenue West.
Liberal Leader Bonnie Crombie is starting her campaign in Barrie at 10 a.m. with a healthcare-focused press conference. She will be joined by Rose Zacharias, the candidate for Barrie-Springwater-Oro-Medonte, who is an emergency and family doctor. Later, she will be canvassing with candidate Kelly Dunn from Markham-Stouffville at 3 p.m.
Green Party Leader Mike Schreiner is launching his campaign at Toronto’s Queen’s Park at 10 a.m. He will then move to Guelph to address volunteers and supporters at his downtown campaign office, starting at 12:15 p.m. Later, at 6:30 p.m., he will address volunteers and supporters at deputy Green leader Aislinn Clancy’s campaign office in Kitchener.
