The Niagara Regional Police reported that they were summoned to a house near Huron and St. Claire Avenue around 10:30 a.m. on a Saturday. Upon arrival, they found the lifeless body of 59-year-old Lori Konrad.
Following the grim discovery, the police apprehended the deceased woman’s son who now faces second-degree murder charges. The suspect was presented before a bail hearing on the following Sunday and has since been remanded into custody.
The Niagara Regional Police are urging anyone who may have pertinent information regarding the case to step forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
