Three individuals, comprising two females and one male, have been taken into custody by the Toronto police following a fatal knife attack in a Toronto apartment building on Thursday morning.
The police were alerted about the incident at approximately 6:10 a.m. on November 7, leading them to an apartment near Lawrence Avenue East and Kingston Road in Scarborough. Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim in the building, gravely injured from knife wounds. Despite immediate attention, the man succumbed to his injuries on site.
Duty Inspector Todd Jacko confirmed the arrest of the three individuals to the media representatives present at the scene. He assured the public that all involved parties were acquainted with each other, thereby negating any risk to public safety. He further acknowledged that such incidents could incite concern within the community, but reassured that the police were dedicating all necessary resources to the ongoing investigation.
However, Jacko refrained from disclosing any identities or details about the potential charges, stating that the investigation is still underway.
